Lord of the Ring was an in genius idea by FFW authorities, Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff, to elevate talent and give them an opportunity at their main prize, the top prize in the industry and the power that it holds. Lord of the Ring turned into such a huge idea that FFW decided to hold a complete PPV about it, and the Lord of the Ring PPV was born.
The first match on the card was for Altitude’s Extreme Championship, which was being defended by Randy Orton, against Mr. Kennedy, a newcomer to Altitude. Orton had held the title since defeating former champion Randy Orton on Altitude a few weeks ago. Since then Orton had been on a wave of success and so had Kennedy. The momentum for each of these hot heads was huge and it showed in this contest. It was an extremely competitive match, that showed off both men’s determination and drive to succeed, kicking the PPV off in a top class way. The momentum was to end for Kennedy though, who was struck with a vicious RKO to retain his title. Who will be Orton’s next challenger? And will Kennedy bounce back or not?
Next up was another match with Championship implications, this time for a shot at Big Show’s Intercontinental Title. Shelley, Kaz and Sting had all spent valuable time honing their skills on Revolution, and were ready to step up their game for a shot at the title. Sting was aiming for another title to add to his Hardcore belt and Shelley and Kaz were striving for their first FFW title, making every competitor dangerous. Sting tried to use his veteran knowledge and instinct to knock off the two younger superstars, but Shelley used his speed advantage to hit a perfect Tiger Suplex and get the title shot. Will Big Show lose the Title to Shelley? Or will Show’s 250 Pound advantage allow him to dominate Shelley?
One of the most original match concepts in Wrestling History was showcased next, as the TV Title was defended in a Three Way Ultimate X match. The two aWo members had the fans complete support, and The Miz was at a distinct disadvantage immediately, as the fans turned their hatred to him. This seemed to put him off his game and his performance was below average at best. Morrison and Cena put in top class performances, and either man would have deserved to win, however the victory was tainted as Morrison was climbing the structure. A man from the crowd darted in and took out Cena, allowing Morrison to win. The man then revealed himself as Bret Hart, leading to the whole of FFW wondering: Why? Will Morrison’s reign be less tainted in the future? Will Cena get revenge on Hart or would Hart proove his name as The Hitman and destroy Cena?
Christopher Daniels was one of the most successful superstars that Revolution had ever seen, and had a perfect record, until Brock Lesnar appeared one night, and defeated him for the title, before putting him on the shelf. Then many weeks later Daniels reappeared and hoped to begin cutting his way through Revolution once more, with his first obstacle being Austin Aries. Both men showed great heart and each man’s signature moves were not enough to get either the win. Aeris went high risk and attempted a 450 Splash, but Daniels moved and hit his own BME to get the pinfall and the win in his return match. Will Daniels be able to pick up where he left off?
Next up was the culmination of weeks of preparation and effort by management and superstars alike: The final of the Lord of the Ring tournament. Revolution’s Big Show and Altitude’s Kurt Angle faced off, for the prestigious title of Lord of the Ring, and for the World Title Shot that came with it. Two very successful and ambitious superstars in one ring always means a great match up, and this ambition and frustration nearly lost it for Big Show as he almost attacked the referee after a 2 Counted Chokeslam. Big Show then suddenly realised what was at stake, and hit another Chokeslam, getting the pinfall and the title shot. Will Lord Of The Ring Big Show carry this momentum to a World Title? Will Kurt Angle find another way to get to the top?
Finally, we were onto the Main Events – The World Title matches. First up was the Altitude match, which featured FFW Champion MVP against the Rated R Superstar - Edge. MVP had held the title since facing off with Ted DiBiase, Kurt Angle and CM Punk at Free Fall, and this was his first defence, and Edge’s first shot at the title. Everyone expected Edge to put up a firm challenge, but MVP was able to dominate, stopping Edge’s offense at every opportunity and turning it into his own. This enabled MVP to hit a Drive-By Kick and a Playmaker to keep Edge down and succeed in his first title defence. That’s when things began to get strange. As Edge walked up the ramp, the lights went off and when they came back on, Edge was missing, with a red cross stood in his place. What does the cross mean? What has happened to Edge? Will MVP continue his success?
Revolution’s World Champion Matt Hardy had taken advantage of Lesnar being attacked a few weeks back, and had won the Title in a Battle Royal. Hardy had joined FFW at the same time as Daniels, and he had been alongside him all the way to the top, and even when Daniels had left, Hardy continued his success and was hoping to continue it even further tonight. Raven had won his number one contendership on Revolution, and was definitely going to be a challenge for Matt Hardy, a fact demonstrated when both men kicked out of the other’s finishing move. Hardy was then able to hit another Twist of Fate and successfully retain his title. Who will Hardy’s next challenger be? Will Raven bounce back?
Lord of the Ring was a night of Title’s, as both World Champions managed to successfully retain their title for the first time, a new TV Champion was born, and The first Lord of the Ring was crowned. The PPV was a huge success, could the momentum be carried over to Revolution and Altitude, and would Summer Showtime be anywhere near as Successful? Make sure you tune into FFW programming to find out.

Interview with Shawn Michaels
TG: I am here with returning FFW superstar, Shawn Michaels. First off, Shawn how do you feel to be back?
SM: Honestly? This place has gone downhill since I've been gone. I guess I really was the man holding this place together.
TG: Now we all saw what you did to Edge, where is he?
SM: Oh...Edge. Let us say he won't be back in a while.
TG: Right...well. Now we saw what you've done to MVP. Why?
SM: Because MVP is nothing, but trash. Just because he carries that gold around, it doesn't make him a god! Let me tell you something MVP. You won't have that gold come Summer Showtime. Am I right?
TG: Right...well I think this is a question people want. Why are you back?
SM: Because I miss being from the ring...miss kicking ass.
TG: Now besides kicking ass. Do you have any other plans?
SM: Easy Todd. I'll be healing FFW.
TG: What does that mean?
SM: You'll see Todd. You'll see in all due time.

As a journalist for FFW Magazine, my first subject to write on was the rise of the Kardinal Sinners in the June/July issue. As I waited for my next assignment, I sat ringside at most Full Force Wrestling events, and studied the group of men and women that made this business as good as it is today. Then I received my next assignment to write on.. an interview with Altitude General Manager, Eric Bischoff. I thought up some questions, and received Erics phone number, and a good time to call him.. these are the results of that phone call...
Being a fan of professional wrestling for the last couple decades, I have loved watching every promotion from ROH to WWE, from TNA to WCW. So, for people like myself, Eric Bischoff is not a strange name to our ear. Seeing as you are one of the men who help to run this promotion, Full Force Wrestling, how does it compare to your time as the front man in WCW?
There is a huge difference in a lot of ways. the superstars here have a huge competitive nature, and they always strive to be the best. There is also the fact that there are less problems behind the cameras, mainly because of the good harmony between the superstars. And also, unlike WCW, FFW will stay forever...
Forever? Well, obviously, every wrestling fan knows about the Monday Night Wars and the subsequent fall of World Championship Wrestling.. now in FFW, you work with the man who put you out of business, Mr. Vincent Kennedy McMahon. What's it like working with Mr. McMahon?
I'm not going to lie to you, Vince McMahon is still the son of a bitch he was all those years ago, but we realized something, the competition ruined us, so we decided to make a company that stands high in the wrestling world, a meeting of the minds, and FFW came to be.
Through it all though, do you still hunger for your former power? Do you urge to have more pull in Full Force Wrestling, or are you happy where you are right now in your life?
That's a tough question to answer, but I'll try my best. The hunger for power is a natural instinct in human beings, but the thing is, I know that if I push things, I'll ruin what is a perfect thing in my life; my hunger for power eventually led to me being out of business for a moment in my life, and that won't happen again...
The professionalism that you have exemplified through that answer itself, and the ultimate respect you have for this business, are two of the many reasons you are known to many as one of the top promoters the wrestling business have ever seen. This is one of the reasons, I guess, that you have become a Hall of Famer here. What's it like, being in the Full Force Wrestling Hall of Fame?
It's the greatest feeling in the world, the idea that I would be in such a great part of the wrestling world nearly put me to tears. When I found out I was going into the hall of fame, I couldn't believe my ears. And the induction night itself was by far the best night of my life.
Around the same time as this induction, you were in a hard hitting feud with none other then Chris Jericho. Can you speak on that as well, Mr. Bischoff?
I have problems with Chris Jericho, I always did, and I always will. We had a huge feud, he was a thorn in my side that was eventually removed when he left Altitude. All I can say is good riddance...
Chris Jericho is just one wrestler out of many that you have seen come and go. In your honest opinion, Mr. Bischoff, who is the next big wrestler here in Full Force Wrestling? Who do you think will be a future Heavyweight Champion?
There are a lot of future FFW Champions here in FFW, John Cena, The Miz, Bret Hart, Randy Orton, and the Number One Contender, Shawn Michaels are all in the list of possibilities to become new FFW Champion, but to get your shot, you have to impress me so much beyond my expectations...
Through this interview, your charisma comes through, as well as your passion for this business, and Full Force Wrestling itself. Does a heart lay under the rough exterior that we see, week in and week out, on Altitude?
I guess it's for me to know and for you to find out.
After the good byes were said, the phone hung up, I just sat there. I looked at my wall, and I just thought. Eric Bischoff.. a builder.. a man who took his career from nothing to everything, all by the knowledge that the strong survive while the weak perish. Something I will always remember and hold dear to me, a lesson in business from the charismatic General Manager of Altitude, Mr. Eric Bischoff.

ROAD STORIES
STEINER: We have a lot of stories floatin' around from being on the road with the guys here at Full Forced.. uh.. Force.. Wrestlin', ya know? Me and Sheiky have spent years now in the wrestling business, and since we've had some fun, we figured we'd might as well let everyone know, because they want to know, some of the stuff we've done. About a few months ago, I think it was September. We were in Charleston, West Virgina. There were four of us, about 2 in the morning, sitting in this coffee shop called the Soggy Boot or something along those lines, ya know? It's me, Iron Sheik, Eric Simms, and Shark Boy. Me and Sheiky show up, dressed to impressed, loving the ladies with the paid for breasts, too fine to dine, cool as a pool, wanted like water during a drought, but can't get it from the spout. Long story short, we looked good. Eric comes in with a baseball hat and a fanny pack on, which should be illegal, and the three of us sit down and wait for Shark Boy to get here. About 5 minutes after we were macking on some ladies at the bar, Shark Boy strolls on in, in full wrestling gear. He takes a seat next to Simms, and right across from the Sheik. We're in our suits that cost us a couple grand, Erics doing the best he can, and Shark Boy is in tights and a mask that makes him look like he should be passing out cotton candy at a Jaws based theme park. We order a coffee each, and Sheiky orders a Ham and Cheese sandwich. We get our coffee first, and when the lady leaves to get Sheiks ham and cheese, Sheiky Baby slips the last bit of Whiskey he had shoved in his jacket sleeve, in to his steaming hot coffee. Shark Boy laughs, Eric does some kind of thing that sounds like two ducks going at it, and I do what I do best, be the Big Poppa for the little mommas. Sheik gets his sandwich, but before he can even have a taste, Shark Boy sneezes. Not only does he get snot all over his 50 cent children's Halloween mask, but he shakes the table, and knocks over Sheikys coffee, all over his sandwhich...
SHEIKY: F***in' Fish F***! Spill my coffee n' whiskey all over my samich! I kill the f***in' Jabroni! Eric Simms, he the dumbass of the group, trying to calm me down! Make me Humble! I make him Humble! Do Eric Simms wrestle? No! Does Eric Simms win Championship Belt? No! I do! Me! The Iron Sheik. And the Scotty Steiner. I try and grab the f***in' shark man by his tights, but the f***er sneeze again, make me fall over, get my new suit covered in the cheese and the coffee. He run away, so I grab my cane to chase after him, but Eric Simms stop me while the little Jabroni got away! "f*** you" I say, slapping Eric in the chest, "get the f***!". I push him out the way. Try to get out till Brother Scotty come up, calm me down. Tell me it be okay. So, I go back, get other ham sandwich and coffee. Though, it was no good without my whiskey! F*** you and f*** for your life, Whale F***er! Me done talking!
Check out the next edition of Full Force Wrestling Magazine for another crazy road story, from Scott Steiner and the Iron Sheik!

INTERVIEW WITH THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION
Matt Hardy
FFW coleague, Todd Grisham, met with World Heavyweight Champion, Matt Hardy, to conduct a one-on-one interview with the Champ at his home in Cameron, North Carolina.
Matt, when you came to FFW, did you ever picture yourself as World Heavyweight Champion?
You know, through my whole career, I've been kicked around, I've been beat down, I've been labeled a 'jobber'.. And for what? Just to be another poor soul to face the music, face the crowd, and sing along with their ballad chanting the words "I can't do it"? I faced the adversity in my life, I did what I set out to do, and that is to wrestle and try to stand for what I believe in. I tried to be a good guy and please the fans, but honestly, it wasn't getting me anywhere. So, Christopher Daniels came along and started to teach me, and various other wrestlers. And look at us now. I'm World Heavyweight Champion and The Big Show is the most unstoppable force here in FFW. I never saw myself as World Champion prior to me signing to FFW, I never saw myself as World Champion once I signed my name on the dotted line, but once my eyes were opened and I saw things the way they were meant to be seen, I realized that I, in fact, can do it... And that's why I'm here today, your World Heavyweight Champion.
You obviously owe a lot to The Fallen Angel, now that Christopher Daniels has left, is The Kardinal Sinners without a guiding light?
A lot of people are oblivious to the fact that The Kardinal Sinners isn't a faction, we're a brotherhood, a family. People look at us and say "Oh, yeah, The Kardinal Sinners, they're like every other faction in Professional Wrestling, they'll just come and go". Blood is thicker than water. Whatever quarrels will arise within that family, you're of each other's flesh and blood, you're still a family. The same with The Sinners. Though, Christopher Daniels is gone, he's still a Sinner. You live a Sinner, you die a Sinner. We're family, and that's why you don't see Show and I at each other's throats right now.
Speaking of The Big Show, you two are engaging in battle once again at Summer Showtime for your World Title. Thoughts?
Show and I have great respect for each other. But to tell you the truth, Todd, once I faced The Big Show and lost, I had a new found respect for The Big Show. I respected him and loved him like a brother before, but now I look at him and I see a beast, a beast with hungry eyes. I can't wait to do battle with him again with the greatest prize in this business on the line.
If you lose, will The Sinners fall apart?
You're just like the rest! You doubt the closeness of The Sinners! We're Family, Todd. We live and die as a family! Whether it be rain, sleet, or snow, The Kardinal Sinners will still reign supreme here in FFW. If I lose my title to Show, I'll shake his hand and we both will walk to the back together, bloodied and beaten, and continue with the Sinners.
What do you do to prepare for your matches?
I, actually, read. I try to keep a clear mind and try to focus on the task at hand. I personally like the works of Stephen King.
What about Paul Heyman? Does he add a motivational factor to The Sinners?
No doubt. I have great faith in myself, but Paul Heyman... He really adds an edge to The Kardinal Sinners ever since Christopher Daniels brought him in.
Are there any people here in FFW that can be a potential Sinners member in the future?
You need to have a big rep to be in The Sinners, Todd.. Bringing in a no-name off of the streets is like putting you on the board of directors, Todd. Its ludicrous! Sure, a few names pop up, but I need to see more. For now, The Sinners is just a two man group.
You seem to reference Neil Young a lot.. What's the deal with that?
Neil Young..? He's a brilliant musician, and a man. I look up to him, much like many other people. He started a generation, he began something we know as 'Grunge' back in 1977 with his hit song "Hey Hey, My My". I kind of see myself as the Neil Young of FFW.. Both Poetic Justice and The Kardinal Sinners started somewhat of an epidemic here in FFW, and I'm proud to say I've been a part of it from the start.
You feel a lot of anger towards your brother, Jeff Hardy.. Can you elaborate on that?
Jeff is a mistake, Todd. He's a loser. He's like the others who only make a name for themselves in this business because the kids cheer him and all the women want to sleep with him. I don't stoop to his level, Todd. I wrestle because I love wrestling, unlike Jeff. Jeff wrestles to have his face plastered over a magazine. If I'm going to be booed for doing that, so be it.. At least I'm wrestling for the business that I love than for myself. Jeff would rather smoke a joint and get loaded than compete in this wonderful business... So, if Jeff wants to piss his life away, fair enough.. I won't care..

Lord of the Ring was a fantastic PPV, and everyone in FFW was hoping that the follow up – Summer Showtime - was just as good. As the weeks went on and the rivalries developed, the card began to look more and more impressive, and with the announcements of the final matches the week before the PPV, the FFW universe braced itself for another brilliant display.
The first match on the card is between two of Revolutions newest superstars. The People’s Champion, The Rock. The Italian Stallion, Santino Marella. Both men have made impressive starts since joining Revolution and are surely looking forward to getting a boost from this matchup, trying to propel themselves into title contention. Who will walk away from this bout with the win? Will it be a seasoned veteran or a young upstart?
Former TV Champion John Cena lost his title in a very unfortunate and tainted way, as he was attacked at the culmination of the Ultimate X Match, enabling John Morrison to walk away with the win. The figure that attacked Cena was later revealed as none other than returning Legend Bret Hart. Cena wants serious revenge on Hart, and Bischoff capitalised to book a Grudge Match between the two. Who will win? Will Altitude’s young up and comer fend off his greatest challenge yet? Or will The Excellence of Execution be too much for Cena to handle?
Next up is the first title match of the evening, featuring 3 of Revolutions talented performers facing off for Sting’s Hardcore title. The challengers, Kaz and The Undertaker, have not held any gold before in FFW, and this was their chance to get off the mark and gain the power that comes with being a champion. Sting has been on a roll since joining FFW, and Kaz has also been impressive, not least because of the fiery redhead on his arm. The Undertaker on the other hand had been his usual mysterious self, until he suddenly changed his attitude, revelling in his tortured past, and embracing his troubled childhood. The badass was back, and will he have a new belt to go with him new attitude? Will Sting retain against the odds? Or will Kaz have a confidence boost from his lovely companion, and impress the world with a victory?
Last month, in the Ultimate X Match at Lord of the Ring, John Morrison took the title from his fellow aWo member, and took the next step on the road to greatness. The fans were delighted and Morrison was delighted, but one person wasn’t: CM Punk. Punk became determined to get a shot at the title, and that he did, as Bischoff booked a match between FFW’s most promising young superstars. Will the aWo continue to succeed and carry gold? Will Punk claim his opportunity and defeat the champion in his first defence, to get his first FFW title?
Altitude has a wealth of powerful, experienced, ambitious and hungry superstars, who would want nothing more than a shot at the FFW Title. The best in the business hold the FFW title, and every Altitude superstar wants a chance to add themselves to that group. Bischoff thus booked a huge match, with any Altitude Superstar able to enter the Battle Royal and win a shot to become the best. The amount of possible results for this match is huge, and the only thing that we can be certain about is that this match will be one of the craziest of the night. Will a favourite win the match and prove his worth? Or will an obscure superstar leap into the spotlight and succeed when it matters most?
Alex Shelley had been successful since joining FFW, and had shown his strength of character and technical ability by defeating the world’s largest athlete for his Intercontinental Title belt. However, this momentum was quickly derailed as Shelley was forced to vacate the IC Title for personal reasons. McMahon then decided that Revolution needed to crown a new Intercontinental Title, and, not to be outdone by Altitude, McMahon booked a Battle Royal of his own, with the winner getting the title. Who will win the title? Will a young upstart be able to take a huge step forward, or will a seasoned veteran prove his worth and ability by claiming the title?
The Main Event’s of PPV’s are always the most exciting match ups and usually have the most at stake, and Summer Showtime is now exception. At Lord of the Ring, FFW Champion MVP was able to defeat The Rated R Challenger Edge and retain his title, but after the match Edge disappeared and was replaced with a red cross. Similar unexplained phenomenon continued to happen as weeks went on, and the cause of this was finally revealed to be The Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels, who was hungry for gold, and was chasing MVP. Bischoff gave HBK what he wanted, and the FFW Champion will have to face his biggest challenge yet – a determined Shawn Michaels. Will Michaels’ mind games get him the win? Or will MVP find a way to win, just as he does every week?
The Revolution Main Event features reigning Champion Matt Hardy, facing off against Lord of the Ring Champion, The Big Show. These two have a lot of history, as they faced off at Free Fall for the Intercontinental Title, and probably the most important prize, a spot in the Kardinal Sinners. It was a fantastic contest which ended with Big Show as the winner, and the remaining Kardinal Sinner and IC Champion. Since then, Big Show lost the title to Alex Shelley, and Hardy won the World Heavyweight Title. The competitors have grown. The stakes are higher. Who will win? Will Big Show repeat the past and take another title from Hardy? Or will Hardy make up for Free Fall?
Regardless of the results to any of these matches, Summer Showtime is sure to be a fantastic PPV, which every single FFW fan will be able to revel in for months to come.
